Volunteer Forest School Assistant

We are looking for a like-minded individual who has a keen interest in outdoor adventures and nature conservation, who would like to gain experience working with children to develop those early and all important connections with nature. Someone who is enthusiastic, flexible, innovative and driven to provide the best possible practice in Forest School that allows young people to feel nurtured, supported and safe. You will assist in the daily running of the sessions, including setting up and tidying away, be involved in games, crafts, cooking and more.

This role would be suitable for someone who is looking to develop their experience of working with children, someone who would like an introduction to Forest School or perhaps someone who has a little extra time on their hands and enjoys being outside.

 

Please note that as this post will involve working with children, your appointment is subject to you receiving satisfactory enhanced DBS clearance.
